Staff Team

Pastor Tom Weaver

Lead Pastor
Pastor Tom comes from North Carolina originally; his family has lived for 300 years in the same county. He moved to Corpus Christi, Texas to start a freight company in 1991, which he ran for 10 years. He met his wife, Selina, in Houston, TX at a church event. It was love at first sight—for Pastor Tom. Selina needed a little more convincing. They married in 2000 and moved to the Rio Grande Valley where Tom had extended his freight company. In  2001, Tom came to a radical understanding of who Christ is, and things have never been the same. The freight company was sold and full-time ministry began.

Tom and Selina began college work in 2002, and later went on staff at a local church as the pastor to families with students. Tom and Selina planted Logos Community in 2008, and Logos has planted two more churches since then which are thriving today.

Tom has a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, and a Master’s Degree in Missional Leadership. Selina is an educator and also a zumba enthusiast.
For fun, Tom enjoys Jiu-jitsu and mountain biking—and also, the vast amount of awesome restaurants and venues in San Antonio for live music. Tom and Selina love to two-step and enjoy relaxed dinner with family and friends.

Tom and Selina have 3 awesome girls, and are excited about being in San Antonio.

Jesse Spradley

Executive Director
Jesse and Liz have been married since 2005, and God has graciously given them two awesome kids. Jesse and Liz have both been on staff with churches for many years and served in Honduras as Missionaries. They have lived in San Antonio since 2017 and have fallen in love with the city, the culture and the TACOS. They began serving Mission Church in May of 2020 and Jesse is excited about bringing his experience to Mission Church and learning how to do life and ministry with the amazing staff at Mission.

Holly Goff

Finance Director
Holly was born and raised in Austin, TX and graduated from UTSA with her bachelor’s degree in Special Education. She taught children with autism for seven years before beginning her career in ministry.

She is married and has two children. In her free time she enjoys water skiing, checking out local restaurants, and relaxing with her family. She is passionate about sharing how Jesus has changed her life with others and discipling young women.  She also loves a good spreadsheet!

Shayna Gutierrez

Mission Kids Director
She’s originally from West Texas but grew up in the small town of Refugio in South Texas.  Shayna graduated from UTSA in 2008…Go Roadrunners…. and spent the next two years working and traveling in Kenya, South America and China. Why would she come back from that adventure?! Well, when she returned to San Antonio in 2010 she met her handsome husband Gary. Shayna’s worked all kinds of random jobs; directing an orphanage in Kenya, running a ropes course for the Boy scouts of America, and marketing in the medical field. But all these experiences pale in comparison to when she entered into a Life with Jesus.

Shayna and Gary have two beautiful kids, Camila and Jonas, and are loving every minute of it. She likes it so much that she wanted to serve her church as the Nursery and Preschool Director…mainly so she can come up with awesome crafts for the kids! She and her husband love doing life in their community, checking out delicious restaurants in San Antonio and  dreaming about future travel plans.
